In Diana Shpungin's most current works she is exploring the idea of
the grand gesture as it may relate to love, life and death. Trying to
make the intangible tangible in order to understand timeless great
mysteries is the ultimate goal in the work.

Additionally, Diana Shpungin works as part of a collaborative team
with Nicole Engelmann investigating the interaction of friends and
enemies. Inner struggles of their interactions are examined through
an ongoing series of experiments involving the voluntary
de-individualization of power, denial of the selfish vantage point,
and refusal to compromise.
